Youth Sports

David Wolf has been an active volunteer, coach, and leader in youth soccer. In 2007-2008, Mr. Wolf served as a youth soccer coach at CAA (Creeks Athletic Association) Soccer.

He coached his son and other 6 year / 7 year old boys in the CAA Soccer Recreation League. Several of the boys had just started playing soccer.

Coach Wolf and other volunteers worked with the boys on some basic soccer skills development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

From 2009 – 2011, Mr. Wolf went on to coach his son and other boys in the CAA Center of Excellence.

He also earned his “F” Coaching License during this period of time.

Coach Wolf, through the CAA Center of Excellence, now known as the CAA Academy, help train a group of 40 -50 boys together to work on soccer individual skills and play.

Practice plans were formulated and executed with the assistance and leadership of trained soccer coaches including several coaches from the University of North Florida.

In this program, the boys learned basic and advanced soccer skills. The CAA Center of Excellence was a great training program for many of the boys who eventually were selected into the CAA Premier Program.

About CAA Soccer

In 2012, Mr. Wolf was elected into the position of CAA Soccer Secretary.

Over the years, CAA Soccer has grown into one of the largest Youth Soccer programs in the State of Florida.

CAA Soccer has four basic divisions or categories of play: Premier, Academy, Recreation, and the TOPS Program.

There are approximately 2000 children enrolled in and playing for CAA Soccer.

Premier Blue Soccer Team

Also in 2012, Mr. Wolf took on the responsibility of serving as Team Manager for the U 12 Premier Blue Soccer Team. This team completes and games and tournaments throughout North Florida and other areas.

In addition to participation and volunteer work at CAA Soccer, Mr. Wolf has coached and managed a Boys and Girls 3 v. 3 and 5 v. 5 team sponsored by the law firm of Wood, Atter & Wolf, P.A.

The teams competed as the Twisters from 2009 – 2012 and then as Team Caution in 2012.

The teams won several local and out of town tournaments and qualified for the playoffs in several other tournaments.

While winning games and tournaments showed the level of skill and play of the teams, Mr. Wolf was most proud of the sportsmanship and teamwork of the players.

Whether the teams won or lost, Mr. Wolf wanted to make sure that the players had fun and developed their soccer skills, team play, and love for the game at each every practice, game, and tournament.
