The book titled - Florida Family Law - Enforcing Your Legal Rights & Rebuilding Your Life - was authored by Jennifer Erlinger. Jennifer has devoted her legal career to the representation of clients in Florida Family Law matters. With years of experience in handling a wide range of family law cases, Erlinger provides readers with valuable information about the legal issues, challenges, and courses of action that typically arise in a family law matter. This book was compiled from experience in representing real world family law clients, Florida case law and statutes, and the contribution of family therapists and specialists, who work with families dealing with divorce, post divorce, and other family law issues.
Ms. Erlinger has extensive experience handling a variety of legal issues that impact the financial, social, parenting, and emotional status of her clients. This dedication, passion for her work, and devotion to her clients all combined together to write this book which is provided for free to clients, potential clients, and others interested in learning more about family law issues, challenges, and resolutions.
Florida law pertaining to divorce and family law matters is set forth in Chapter 61, Florida Statutes. While the legal issues pertaining to family law are organized in this part of the Florida Statutes, the interpretation and application of the laws are far from simple. Each family law case and issue should be evaluated on the unique facts and circumstances. Certainly, there is no "one size - fits all" approach that applies to a family law case or the proper legal representation of a family law matter.
As noted in Section 61.001, Purpose of Chapter - Dissolution of Marriage; Support; and Time-Sharing, the purposes of the chapter are to "promote the amicable settlement of disputes that arise between parties to a marriage; and to mitigate the potential harm to the spouses and their children caused by the process of legal dissolution of marriage." While these purposes are noble in a sense, one or both parties to a family law matter often take or resort to the low road of immaturity, selfishness, unreasonableness, and stubbornness when dealing with a family law issue or matter. At Wood, Atter & Wolf, P.A., the attorneys are ready and able to work through the issues when there is an amicable resolution and in other cases when there is a battle to enforce the legal rights of the client.
One of the book authors (Jennifer Erlinger) believes in zealous representation that is "child-focused" for the best interest of child. The book - Florida Family Law - Enforcing Your Rights & Rebuilding Your Life has chapters on the following issues:
Learning what to expect in a family law case and how to handle it is the best first step you can take, so that when you begin working with your attorney, you have the tools necessary to make the best decisions for you and your family.
