The Divorce mediator has the job of showing each party what the strengths and weaknesses of their cases are. The Divorce Mediator’s goal is to resolve most or all of the issues in the case so that it can be finalized.
Mediation can be extremely successful when both parties are represented by an attorney, and mediation is always less expensive than going to trial. Even when a divorce mediation is not successful, your attorney will learn much about how your spouse’s attorney will present the case at trial.
